It started with step one: the note catcher where students wrote down information pertaining to their topic. Then went to step 2: organizing the information. Students selected main ideas from their notes and color coded them with highlighter in order to more easily see how to organize the information. From there we went to step 3: filling out the organizer. Here students transferred information to organized paragraphs and created topic sentences. Next is step 4: typing up the paragraphs from the organizer. This step 4 is what is due Thursday for 304 Friday for 301. Attached are some examples of what these steps looked like. Most students are on step 3 or 4.
