Today we attempted to make an origami star box in class. Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the box before the end of the day. This is the link to the instructions for making the box http://picklebums.com/origami-star-boxes-with-printable-origami-paper/
Fourth grade is now in music! Mr. W sent recorders home this week. In case any instructions missed backpacks, below is the guide to having a recorder.
Our Math Unit 4 Test is coming up this Wednesday! Here is a video or two that explains what we have been learning in class. The first demonstrates and explains a few of the methods of solving double digit multiplication problems. The second video explains the algorithm (the most common way of solving multiplication). The algorithm method has been especially been challenging the students. Both videos provide great explanations and review.
Students received their Unit 3 math tests yesterday. The students did a much better job on this test.
I have given student the opportunity to make up half of the points they have missed. To do this they need to use lined notebook paper with a correct heading (name, subject and date in the right hand corner). For each question they missed they need to provide the number and write a sentence of two explaining why they missed the question. They will also need to provide the correct answer and show their work on how they got to that answer.
I am available everyday this week at 8am if anyone would like to come in and work on the corrections or ask any questions.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
